A waterfront reserve property at 133 Henley Marine Drive, Drummoyne, is for auction on October 19. Overlooking Sisters Bay, it features panoramic water views with the city beyond, ornate ceilings and leadlight windows. There are four bedrooms (master with ensuite, walk-in robe), three bathrooms, sitting room, lounge and dining, kitchen with eat-in area.

Drummoyne house sales this year have reached $32.9 million. Last year's total was $61.8 million, down from $70.8 million in 1997.

The 37 auctions this year have had a clearance rate of 62 per cent, for a total of $12.3 million and average of $539,000. The 64 in 1998 had a 59 per cent clearance rate and made $23.6 million (average $637,000), and the 78 in 1997 had an 82 per cent clearance rate and made $26.9 million ($441,000).

The 41 private treaty sales this year have made $20.6 million ($501,000). The 76 last year averaged $468,000, and the 88 in 1997 averaged $490,000.
